Whitefield's ORR Shift-Change Windows — When Not to Drive

Whitefield's traffic isn't a single spike — it's a slow-building wall. The ORR stretch between the Kadugodi and Hoodi junctions starts filling around 8:30am and doesn't clear until close to 10am, because ITPL, EPIP Zone, and Sigma Soft Tech Park release their shifts on staggered 30-minute cycles rather than all at once. The evening version runs 5:30-8pm and is worse.

The Graphite India junction and the Kundalahalli railway crossing are the two spots where a 10-minute drive becomes 30. If your schedule is flexible, a 9:30am or 4:30pm pickup dodges both windows cleanly. Weekends flip the pattern entirely — Whitefield goes quiet by Saturday afternoon since most of its working population commutes in from elsewhere and simply isn't around.
